Nick Jr "tablet strollers" - What a stupid idea!

 I started thinking about this picture today, for some reason.


I snapped this pic at the Great Lakes Crossing mall in Michigan a few years back. For some reason, they started offering "tablet strollers" that played Nick Jr. 2 years later I still think it's a stupid idea because bla bla bla attention span brainrot and all that, but they are making you PAY for this. If you're a parent stupid enough to buy into this shit, you probably also stupid enough to buy a real tablet for your kid. If you want to shut up your kid in a stroller with a screen playing Nick Jr, just give them their damn tablet. You don't need to pay for the overpriced stroller to shut up your kid.

And Nick Jr isn't even good anymore.

This reminds me of those "TV Karts" from the late 2000's-early 2010's. I've seen them online but I never used one as a kid. Pretty much the same concept but they're shopping carts.

The Wiggles Concert That Time Forgot

  Do you ever just forget that you did something one time, then see a picture or two a few years later and react like "Wait, that happened?" That's basically what happened to me. Back in the day, whenever the live production of a show I liked came to town, i'd probably go see it. Yo Gabba Gabba, Sesame Street, Thomas the tank engine, even Sid the effin' Science Kid! The Janken Game: Am I Too Late?

 So basically I recently learned of an old Japanese rock paper scissors arcade game by Data East. Romanized it's called "Janken Game: Acchi Muite Hoi!". I would love to play it but I wouldn't have a clue how to play it with a standard game controller/keyboard lmao So basically this video of the game got recommended to a bunch of people around September/October. Suprisingly I don't think I ever saw it during that time. I usually get all the randomly recommended stuff too but not this one. During that time it also went viral on Twitter. I believe it reached its peak a month or two ago since that's when most of the fan content about this game was put out. I had seen it around a bit but I didn't learn more about it until recently. It seems that for the most part, the Janken Game hype train has died down. Better late than never I guess?
